Dear Friend,

There’s no doubt that this is a challenging time for our city, and our nation. For the first time, we face an incoming Presidential administration elected on a platform of hate against people of different cultures, faiths and immigration status. Many of our core values – of inclusion, of tolerance, and of hope – are at stake.

But I am not giving up, and neither should you. Together, we will build on the progress we have made as a City to create more affordable housing, to expand opportunities for young people, and to protect residents from tenant harassment by landlords.

As your City Council Member, I am proud of the work we’ve done on issues like expanding paid sick leave to cover more workers, reducing thousands of tons of waste sent to landfills, and ensuring our seniors grow old with dignity in the neighborhoods they helped build.

Along the way, we’ve helped residents resolve heat and hot water issues, obtain free legal services, and get assistance through the NYC Rent Freeze Program for seniors and disabled New Yorkers.

In order to continue this important work, I need your support. Please consider making a donation or volunteer to be part of my re-election team.

United we will never be defeated!

¡El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!

團 結 就 是 力 量!
